We are seeking a WordPress Developer who has experience working with modern page builders like Elementor, along with a foundational understanding of SEO and website performance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and dependable professional who is passionate about clean design, functional layouts, and results-driven websites.
About The Role
Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and update WordPress websites using visual builders such as Elementor, Bricks, or Divi
Customize themes to meet branding, performance, and usability requirements
Implement basic on-page SEO best practices including proper use of meta titles, headings, image alt text, and internal linking
Ensure all pages are responsive, accessible, and aligned with user experience best practices
Optimize sites for speed and performance using caching, compression, and other tools
Set up and manage plugins, menus, headers, footers, and contact forms
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and senior developers on revisions, QA, and handoff
Assist with website migration, backups, and staging environments as needed
Learn and apply SOPs related to project handoff, site documentation, and SEO implementation
Required Qualifications
1 or more years of experience working with WordPress
Experience building websites with Elementor or other visual builders
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
Familiarity with SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO or Rank Math
Ability to design and build clean, modern layouts that are mobile-responsive
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines and project briefs
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently within deadlines
Preferred Skills
Exposure to WooCommerce
Familiarity with Google Search Console and Core Web Vitals
Basic experience with graphic tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Canva
Understanding of content structure, sitemaps, and internal linking strategies
Experience working with staging environments, backups, and WordPress security tools
